"I live for the friends I will never forget"

I will never forget celebrating your birthday with our opera friends on the hotel rooftop bar in Savonlinna, Finland. Being summer so far north, it was still kind of daylight at 11 pm. We had just enjoyed a spectacular festival opera performance in the Olavinlinna Castle.

I am not sure which opera night it was, but we laughed about all the blond hair, blue eye "Egyptian" troops (local extras) in the AIDA triumphal march.
