Erica's School Play, Mexican-American War

The play was written by Erica's fourth grade class.

From the program:

In the 1840's, our nation's politicians were on a quest to secure all the land between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.  The Mexican-American War was purely driven by economical, social and political pressures to expand U.S. territories.  Controversy still surrounds the start and outcome of the Mexican-American War.
